ModuleBuilder was founded by Dirk De Nijs in 2006. Dirk has a bachelor in applied computer science and a master in auditing and security, the latter from the Solvay Business School in Brussels. He has also reached a number of Microsoft certificates as well as the ITIL v2 and v3 foundations certifications.
Before founding ModuleBuilder, Dirk worked in the automation of software configuration in the highly sensitive market of clearing houses for bonds and equities. Centred on Win32, the automation consisted of infrastructure management through automated OS roll-out and software package distribution. In this context, he learned quickly that auditing and process review is a key element in the success of any software project.
Dirk diversified when he founded ModuleBuilder: where his previous work was mainly based on Windows, he extended his platform knowledge to Linux with an IBM Administration course and subsequent system programming positions at a number of assignments. For scripting, Dirk quickly got involved with Perl. With his unique skill of advanced Perl knowledge in a Windows system environment, he is a prominent member of the Belgian Perl community. He is a frequent contributor to the community, organising events like the belgian Perl workshop in 2009 and 2010.
Dirk's experience in highly sensitive corporate environments and his extensive education in good practices, auditing and security, make him a prime candidate for your software project.
